Welcome to Play Break #3! For those of you who don't know what the heck I am talking about; allow me to enlighten you...
This little challenge was inspired by a recent post by Petapixels about creativity. A play break is a time out: a creative challenge to immerse ourselves in the little details around us. My Beloved Collective Facebook group has put it's own little spin on this. Our play break challenge is an opportunity for us to get out to "play." A chance to put the summer busyness on the shelf for a moment and connect in the Beloved way.
For this challenge, I was asked to take a play break with something that is "Beloved" to me. To capture it where it resides, in all four corners of the frame.
To be honest, this play break was very loosely defined for me:
My beautiful eight (8) year old daughter is by no means an object. However, she literally resides in the gym for the better part of the week.
My daughter is a gymnast....
To watch her in her element was beautiful for me. I wanted to capture every. single. movement.
I wanted to memorize every. single. moment. I want her to know how much I look up to her. I want her to know how her strength, determination, and perseverance has made me a better person. I want her to know how much I love her...
every. single. day.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Keep an eye out for additional #playbreak posts- happening weekly (I hope)! Feel free to comment and share!
Until next time...
Hi! Welcome to my blog. Stop back often to view my current work and see what I have been up to lately! It's always fun and games when it involves children, families, and a full frame camera! Enjoy! :)
